I thought you asked about pumps, but everyone is commenting on reservoirs. Well I use a five gallon bucket with five gallon water jugs on top….like old style water coolers. It gives me ten gallons total with a siphon point at the level of the five gallon bucket.

I use an Aqua Lifter with ¼ inch tubing. It comes with a little hook, making it easy to hang where ever.

The "source" is gone and the residual contaminants can be removed by water changes and running carbon.

ecambero's sump has been stripped of GE Silicone II and the baffles have been re-installed with GE Silicone I. Finger's crossed. :uncomfortableness:

GE Silicone II contains moldicides.....not good. You actually want plain old GE Silicone I, or a silicone from your LFS made specifically for fish tanks.

What silicone did you use for the baffles?
