@radiata - hi Bob. I got this pair from Mike (from east brunswick forgot his screen name). He got it maybe two years ago from RAP raffle. So it very well may be Darwin. Mike if still online might be able to tell us which company the fish was from.
I have a pair of black clown however one is now beating up the other. I moved one to the sump. It's a healthy fish. Free pick up in Elizabeth. It should not be kept with other clowns.
Bob - this is what I bought.

Not as cheap but cheap enough.
As I discovered my alk is actually 11dkh. With this level the ph is between 8 to 8.2. We live in an apartment so the air is stale after a while. When possible I keep the window open but not always possible. I do 2 parts.
Yes the Hanna is quite easy to use. I am surprise how accurate the Red Sea is, consider that the color transition is not very quick. I have used the Red Sea for so many years never had another brand to compare with.
Got the Hanna. Measured once 11.1dkh! Measured again 10.8. So this is actually very close to the Red Sea Kit, which measures about 10.5.
So I guess the Red Sea kit is good after all.
I am quite shocked the tank has such high alkalinity.
