Paul - are you saying your wet side lasted 7 years? I am considering getting a Vortech but $75 wet side replacement is not too cool. The Gyre does come with a set of spare. I have quite a few Jebaos but it seems the flow is reduced as they age even after a fresh cleaning.

art - these are indeed great fish and the two like to hang out together. the only downside is you must feed them a ton of nori otherwise they perish. as you can see they're quite skinny now.

Took a video after I just released the two convicts into the tank. Took me 5 days to catch the scopas tang. It's a small fish but still fairly aggressive. The convicts on the other hand are completely docile. Just eat and eat like in the wild.

I thought you might need to frame around the opening instead of having the frame hanging there. But I have not done this myself before. It just look unfinished to me. Do not use silicone to stop the leak. The gasket should stop the leak. You might need a new gasket or it's not tightened enough...
