My tank water is 33 ppm (I just realized that I might have measured the salinity wrong). So how to I raise it to 35 ppm? Can I just dissolve some salt and add to the sump everyday?

You can use a 30 gallon tank for sump if you don't want a new stand. I assume you already drilled your tank or you're using an overflow box? If it's the later yeah I will definitely upgrade because you have to buy a new tank to drill anyway.

Thanks for the suggestions on the spa timer but it just seems too much work for me :) I am going back to the digital timer idea. I feed the tank just before going to bed or in the early morning before going to work, when the PE is the best. I have a digital timer that allow me to set 7 on/off...

I bought a piece of favia and put it on the sandbed and partially shadowed. It's doing great. Where do you mount your favia? What if I leave it on the sandbed will it form a skeleton on the sandbed? I have the same question for Acans too. They do great on the sandbed.

My Kole tang goes to bathroom always at the same spot. The same corner of the tank. It took me a while to realize that. And I don't think I have seem fish do that. Unfortunately his bathroom is on the opposite end of the overflow so the poop got blown all over the tank. Does your do that?

Do you have room in the overflow? If it's a standard top to bottom overflow you can put the heater in there.
