Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
yeah, i would definitely recommend this if you are on a tight budget - this thing moves water but if you already have a gyre - i would advise getting another gyre incase they come out with a wireless controller that can sync both unless you don't care about that.
this thing is basically new - was in my tank for like 30 mins before i took it off.
just have on here in case anyone on her was interested - not in a rush to sell or anything
works really well actually - so well that it's a bit overpowering. lol only reason i dont have it on my tank currently and with the size, doesnt look right on an 18" wide side panel.
I am not a commercial lines expert but if it was deemed as a vandalism it might - however, i am not sure if the contaminant clean up would be covered. He might get some money since his business was forced to closed though.
+1 for the MP10
if you wanna save some money - i suggest looking for used Kessils - they are always one for sale - you can usually have them for around 300-350 and sometimes with accessories as well. try going to other forums like R2R/MR/NR - then you can use the money you saved to add on to...
You'll be fine with just the one Kessil A360WE since you'll be doing mostly LPS - the t5s were just a suggestion if you wanted to do mostly SPS.
the light tree is also a good idea like @kschweer suggested - might also look into some DIY ones using conduit at HD/Lowes.
Good call, I had the PSK-75 a long time ago before the new pumps and they were workhorses back then as well. The S120 is an amazing skimmer though too for it's size but with your small water volume the PSK-75 should take care of it nicely.
Nanobox are great fixtures and are highly regarded at the nano-reef forums - if you are going LPS mostly, the Kessil or the Nanobox should be perfect for you. I would actually lean more on the nanobox to be honest, if you're going for aesthetics.
side note, something i noticed - how did you go...
