I've seen the tank from day one and just recently saw it this past weekend and the tank looks amazing. Definitely a tank to keep tabs on because it just gets better and better. They way Jun is going, he is definitely going to need a bigger tank soon. lol PS. Jun upgrade that skimmer next! haha

+1 on the apex controller. I've have been using a reef keeper lite for the most part of all my tanks but on the current build decided to go with an apex. not to discredit reef keepers because they are great controllers for the money however the lack of able to control your tank via the internet...

good luck with the battle Pete. had to fight aefw myself several months back and the best approach is definitely keeping them in a holding tank during the dips. the war can be won!

Had a similar issue with my chiller malfunctioning, although I just lost all my SPS. It is still devastating and honestly all I can think of was selling everything off and quitting. I love this hobby too much to just quit like that though, we just have to move on and be better prepared next...

IMO i think that the SCA-301 worked better in around 7-8" closer to 7". Definitely just make a skimmer stand out of egg crate. can easily be done in less than 20 mins.
