Phosphates also make a big difference in browning montis in my experience.

That is a lot of light, you sure you aren't cooking it? Ever tested par in your tank?

I use aquatic log and aquarium note 2 for different tanks. Aquarium note is a bit more customizable. Doesn't have phosphate as a default parameter to check but easy enough to add.

I have a big ball of chaeto growing in a separate tank with literally no coral or fish in it. I used to run a refugium but felt it was eating my nutrients way too fast. I would gladly give baseball sized piece if anyone needs it. Located in Howell.

Not just frogspawn...ultra aqua cultured octospawn. He will be fine to keep this.

lol I've got a few people asking about it and the only thing I can say is its about as aqua cultured as it comes. It was in a friends tank for 5 years and now mine for about a year. His tank was running 3.3 ALK and it grew a huge colony lol

I keep mine filled with RO water after use to prevent the need to dry them out. I empty then fill half way with salt water from test tank shake it then empty that out. Ready to go.

Stability is key... i try and keep my alk from swinging more than .3 dkh a day and its made a huge difference.
