    i was looking into my tank today and saw what look like two small shrimp. I've seen a molted shell prior looks like mini shrimp but figured it was from detrius of rods food. then looking today i saw those shrimp and wondering if they are a good or bad thing.

    look for a water depot near you. i'm sure there should be an available water depot somewhere within your vicinity. get a tds meter and test their water to verify if you'd be happy with it.

    i've decided against it since it would be too much of a hassle to only gain 11 gallons. i'll modify away and remove the false wall. have to keep live stock in a container etc without having the tank already ready to move everything doesn't sound ideal.

    i just bought an eshopps pf-300 which is definitely not pushing 300 and i have only 1 90elbow on the drain. other than that it's going through 1pvc and 1 1/4" flex tubing. mag 7 would be too much. i have maybe 200 MAX going due to my overflow
