Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
a tip a friend gave me but never tested it was to raise the temp slowly to 90. If I recall correctly the higher temp speeds up the life cycle and also prevents it from starting over. He said to raise the temp 1 degree every hour. Leave it at 90 for 10 days (and its important to go a the full...
Like @kschweer said welcome to the club and also hard to id without a photo and even then its hard to id lol. Keep a close eye on him cause it could also be sand. I noticed my tangs pick up sand once in awhile and at first I thought it was ich but after taking a good close look I discovered it...
@Edwardw771 funny that you mentioned that. I have been thinking about beta testers. I do want it a little more polished plus not sure how I truly feel about having something like this out in beta. I would be very upset if something went wrong and messed up someone's tank/home (God forbid it...
So been awhile since I updated this thread.
My bug, of clicking the feed button twice causing the system to go nuts, has been fix.
I also got the chart working for the temp report. Next step is to work on a date/time picked and have the chart header look cleaner.
The filter is working but I...

I also RSVP via our site so at least our BOD should know how...
hmmm. I could see pros and cons each way (without knowing everything about electric) I think linked cause I think if something is tripping the GFCI then there might be a big issue and killing everything to your tank could help prevent a major issue. Again I don't know much about electric but...
How often do you guys clean your tank's glass? What do you use to clean it?
My I have to do the mag-float like every other day or the glass gets pretty dirty.
well I would assume if your corals are growing and looking good under just your T5s then I personally would stick with just the T5s. Now I'm not expert and like @trio91 I use LEDs only but by the sound of it your providing too much light or too high amount of light to your corals.
Your saying your corals are doing well and growing under just T5s? or are they having issues? I wouldn't say you need "white" light but I would say you need full spectrum (red, blue, green, etc...)
