My new Evolution 1400 is spinning backwards on my RKE. What to do? Anyone had any experience returning them to the manufacturer?
I don't think the thin ones are structurally sound enough for a sheet supported only at the ends to hold frags in a large frag container, like a 150 Rubbermaid stock tank.
Got to see this baby tonight up close and personal, and I'm really, really impressed! If I had a clue about things electrical and knew how to use a soldering gun I'd try to build one...
In the "right" dosage, I guess it would have the same results as ozone - higher ORP, clearer water, fewer organics in the water, etc. But I have no idea what the "right" dosage is, nor would I care to experiment to find out.

Seems to me there's a health food supplement that consists of some sort of liquid garlic in capsules. Wonder if that would work. Might be easier to deal with than powder.
Free to Good Home: GRI 820 external pump that I just took off line. It has been running flat out for 6+ years. Does 1500GPH @6ft, 27' max head, 1" input, 3/4" output, 230 watts. Some rust, and I didn't buy it new. Was used to pump from a basement sump to a first floor tank.

Ia anyone aware of any studies, preferably scientific, that demonstrate a positive link between garlic and fish health? I attended a MACNA lecture a few years back where the speaker claimed there was no link.
Thanks, that maps to the place. Do you know if they cut acrylic to size? In the past I've gone to Canal Street in lower Manhattan when I've needed it cut to size.
