redfishbluefish, I had a jury-rigged fix for this problem too, so I went to Lowes and got the parts... The hole through the fix is only 3/8", while most Mag pumps were designed for 1/2" output. Is there any loss of throughput or any loss of head with the fix? Thanks, Bob

I've used a pen sized butane torch on Aiptasia. Doesn't smell too good. Don't recommend you try it on Valonia - they explode any you get splattered with hot Valonia fluids. :(

Anyone have or know of any issues using Seio or Korilla pumps with classic on-off wavemakers? These pumps are designed differently than Maxi Jets or Mag pumps, and I was wondering if that had any negative impact on long term usage with on-off wavemakers versus usage with variable speed wavemakers.

When it was introduced, people on RC took exception to their analysis. The Brightwell claim is that it perfectly matches saltwater. People on RC said it is impossible to test to the level of precision that the claim made, and the apparently bogus claim disappointed a number of Brightwell fans.

While we're at it, anyone know why they call it "organic"?
