Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
if you are in princeton - isn't going to tinton falls out of your way? I would consider stores like allquatics or the hidden reef closer. Mind you I have never been to either so not sure if they would be better than trop (been there).
Sorry to hear about the accident with the anem.
I didn't come up with the idea. The pvc home was intended for the jawfish - (they refused). I think because it's better suited for the bigger blue-spot jawfish instead of my pearlys.
Anyways - my firefish took up residence. I'm not sure if multiple ones can fit...you could try...
late to this thread but "welcome to njrc!"
if you have a plethora of bristle worms - you could be overfeeding.
If you absolutely want a fish to keep them in check - a coris wrasse might help. I think mine is gut-loaded from eating worms.
Some inverts like an arrow crab will work too - but...
So anyone else have this problem? It went missing around July 4th and I assumed it was scavenged. It was suggested to check under the LR and I knew for certain it wasn't there since it always extends arms out to eat. Well today I decided to get on my step ladder to check the rear overflow...
120 aga here.
I would say you're going to hear conflicting opinions on the tangs. The two you have selected the tang police would usually recommend a 6 gallon sized tank with some strong flow. I tend to think there is no straight "formula". I mean a 120 with mounds of LR may not even be...
After 3 months and assuming it was dead - i found my serpent star in my overflow. Who knew they could climb over? I also found my sea cucumber back there - that's the second time. I'm about to give up on this sea cucumber.
I finally got my tunze multicontroller set up - fun little thing. But...
love the barrels. Did you consider getting some more of the dolley/caster wheels?
regarding the big rock - you could consider splitting it with a hammer. Or just leave it as it is. I dunno - the marco rocks are a little hard to aquascape without their flat pieces.
Not so much a deal or steal but I'd prefer to deal with members.

That stated - getting personal experiences here is probably what you are after - and sadly I cannot give you any input. ::)
salifert for ammonia/nitrite/nitrate- but i'm open to new kits.
For Alk i use Lamotte (love it).
calcium i have sera - haven't used it yet - going to try and see how that goes.
i also need a new mag kit...
I think you mistyped your specific gravity - 1.035 right? getting down to 1.026?
Salinity as mentioned above is measured typically as ppt (in a refractometer).
just stabilize the salinity swings and i'm sure the growth will follow.
a pair of true percs and a royal gramma are perfectly fine.
dwarf angels like the coral beauty or the flame might be a suitable pick- but both have occasionally been reported to be non-reef safe.
the hippo (when small) is fine - but will be a pig and huge as an adult.
TBS is no longer open to the public. frankly i don't even know why they bothered with a "store" given all the diving/shipping and transporting between 4 people.
fyi:
To improve the likelihood that the coral arrives on a weekday and does not sit at a shipping facility over a weekend, products won on auction will be shipped on either Monday or Wednesday, after payment authorization for the item has been processed. We may also choose to hold the shipment...
