I was doing some reading, and someone mentioned this site: www.oceanpods.com
...and I was wondering if there were any reason not to order a bottle of the little fellas?
Trying to keep my tank in as good of shape as possible, ya know. ;)
It's a Canon SD400. For a point/shoot, it's a really nice camera. Although I can see the use of a dslr would be sweetness.
I also think more light in my tank (1 35 watt florescent right now) would help significantly and not require the flash for good pics.
I've cut some glass for inserts on my coffee table. It's actually pretty easy. Lowes/HD sell glass cutting kits. It's like oil and something to etch it, and then you tap it and it breaks.
Not sure if that's what you're interested in, though.
Well, I tried for about 20 minutes to get a picture, and can't seem to get a good one. That's one swimmin' little fish.
He seems awfully happy, I'll give him that!
Well, I bought him and took him home. i tested my water while I was floating his bag. Everything looked excellent on my params. Then, I grabbed a clean plastic bowl (that i just use for fishtank related stuff) and poured him in, and then every 10 minutes I added a little of my tank water, and...
Yeah, he's $40 local, I believe. I just don't know enough about him to buy him. I don't want to have problems with my other fish, for example. I also don't know how finicky they are, or whether they'd fall under a 'beginner' fish (like a yellow tang) or what.
Thanks for the reply!
PS: Rotts...
Anyone heard of these? My LFS has one, and he's a cute lil' guy, but the only info I could find on him is this:
http://www.marinecenter.com/fish/tangs/thompsonstang/
And I don't think that's enough info to go out and buy a fish by.
Thanks for the 411, guys!
I'm still up in the air on everything. One side of me wants to do it right, and the other side of me is my cheap-ass. ;)
I guess, for the moment, i should just be happy that my tank cycled quickly and that my lil' fishies are doing great.
Unless you want to upgrade...
I have a few moderated stupid questions for you guys, if you have a second to answer. :D
Ok, I have a newly established tank. My ammonia dropped to 0, my nitrites is about the same, and the nitrates seems to be relatively low as well, but above 0.
Anyway, I'd like to get into some non-fish...
