Erick, sounds mean, but pick yourself up a chocholate chip star and chop off a piece of a leg and place it near the shrimps cave area. I keep them in my sump area, AWAY from any pumps. Then when you think thats gone, chop another, and another. and another. I only take off about an inch. SO still...

I have used old tank.sand that was rinsed thoroughly. Then added a few cups of sand each week. Worked well.
