    I did it right before I was gonna do a water change anyway so even more was removed with the water swap. Plus if there was too much other stuff released the fresh water would help balance it

    HA. I had a mess like that once. I stirred it all up, stuck a return pup in the tank and shot the return line back into the tank through filter socks after filter socks. A dozen filter socks later and ta da. No more free floating detritus/debris....lol. Not recommended but did work.

    Why this hobby drives me $#@*&! crazy

    I have had similar issues with corals getting knocked from a location, usually by giant snails. Then o put them back in the same exact spot and they don't do as well. Not just for a day from getting knocked over, but months+

    I picked up an orange diamond goby and while he cleans the sand, which seems cool, i have read a ton of posts that they disturb or eat the good things in the sand bed. Anyone have any insight?

    Two Questions

    or try putting some white thread tape around your sing threads as you screw the plastic version onto the faucet. Should help. Not bad to do either way plastic of brass.
