Some tank maintenance today. I went to clean the Gyre and noticed putting it back that it was spinning in reverse. A few months ago I swapped out the extra impeller while others were being cleaned. Reading instructions seems I put the replacement in wrong but cannot figure out what I did wrong...

I added moonlights to my tank yesterday, thanks mark_c. When the lights went out I noticed that the moonlight showed the front tank has scratches. Most likely from sand caught in magnet cleaner. They are a few inches from top. Is there a way to get them out without taking the whole tank apart?
