For my six bulb I run exactly what Kevin has. My eight bulb is pretty much the two bulbs he listed. He is correct, it is not that blue at all. Some people will even run straight blue plus bulbs on coral tanks but for fish, the purple plus really brings reds out.

Were the shrooms under LEDs? Mine have been under t5s and low and are doing well. Maybe even try to spot feed them a bit, they will take some food.
