Not sure. I know if you use too much it will take to much of the necessary stuff out of your tank. Guess your corals would start to look not so good. Prob google it..."using too much carbon"
You can use too much especially if its in a reactor. All brands and types are different, You can use from prob 2 liters to 1/4 of a liter for 100 gallons depending on the type. I found the more expensive ones to work better and you use less so it takes up less room
Blennys can pick at stuff all day. Thats usual for them to nip rocks and glass. Does it eat any food when you feed?. As far as the algae sheets any kind of fish might eat them. My trigger eats em! Ya never know
If your gonna be one that tests stuff, prob get a ph, nitrite, nitrate, ammonia, cal. Id say a phos test kit but they're so inaccurate. Better off just trying to guess if the phos is high by the presence of nuisance algae in your tank, and do all you can to keep the phos down. Water change...
Lanie/ Patriot...... is there Any way i can get an earlier upgrade? My wifes phone, a envy 3 crapped out now she is stuck with her old chocolate thats not so great either. She wants a droid but isn't due for an upgrade till october. We went to 2 different verizon stores in our area ( bridgewater...
That was the thought, a longer coil and slower flow in a rubbermaid filled wit water, This was all just an idea though. My central air and fans keep me cool enough for now even with 4- 400 watt mh, and 2- 160 watt vho the tank has only seen a high of 83 so far and that was when i replaced the...
I dont know, im pretty sure i can get it to work .
Think you need a longer coil ( 50-100') and slower flow. And like said before, the coil should be in a box or rubbermaid filled with gel packs or water( this would drop the temp way faster than just the air in the fridge being around the coil...
Treated my first fowlr tank with copper cause ick was so bad.
Did like a 50% water change and then used those pads that remove copper, then did another big water change. tank ended up being a full reef and everything was aleays fine.
if your calcium is that high you def dont need a reactor. Not yet anyway. If you have lots of sps as they get bigger you might need one/ might not. I have around 30 pieces of sps from 2" - 6" in my 215 and keep my calcium high enough with big water changes every 5-7 days
Thats it! Coil should be spread out more to let the cold air get around it better. Other than that it should be good with a slow flow, so the time in the fridge to cool down is as long as possible
