Be nice if they bought the old driver back or gave a credit. i think 75 is alot for the new controller. Might be better off selling your mp40's for 300-330. Wich usually isnt a problem, And just buying a whole new model . this way the wet side and motor will be new too.

I use to have 150de and all i know is outta all the bulbs i tried the phoenix 14k was hands down the best for color and great growth as well.

Imo you should have 2 smaller independent heaters. or 1 on a controller and 1 independent. If you have them both on a controller and the controller goes bad then they both wont work. Might as well just have 1 big heater if their on same controller. the prob is even with a 2 stage controller...

Btw these are all se bulbs

2- 250w ice cap new style electronic ballasts 6 months old. Like new condition! 2- ushio 10k 250w bulbs 1 week old. 2- reeflux 10k 250w bulbs 2 months old. 1- hamilton 14k 250w 2 months old. Everything for 275$ and ill throw in about 5 gallons of evs 2 part calcium. If you want 2 ballasts...

Couldnt agree more. This way if one sticks on it will take longer to fry your tank and hopefully youll notice in between. Or if 1 doesnt turn on the other still will

HAHAHA the clamps threw me off too! Id agree 50/50. You just never know. Fish can be fine with somethin for a while then just eat it. I think your odds are better if you feed alot. Seems to keep the pickers a little more at bay , But you have to deal with the issues that come with heavy feeding

My mag isnt too loud they usually arent bad. I have a quiet one 4000 too it's very quiet . Def quieter than a mag

Maybe make a u out of metal and slide it over the top of the tank. Measure the width you need and then have it come down an inch on each side. Silicone it in place.

Id just cut it down and make a smaller rectangle tank, sell it and get some of your $ back

Its still under 150$ thats a great deal for all those fish and rock and all. Better have a big tank those are some big fish!
