You can roll a latex on it. But like mat said it does suck up your light instead of reflecting. A mirrored background would be awesome, but it would def freak out your fish

Yup, about 3 coats of poly all sides and edges. You can poly the stell frame too, it works great and lasts forever. My friend ownes a metal company and he taught me that trick, poly great for metal too
