On a 150 I think 250 watt is plenty , 400 is only gonna heat up your water more. But on a 6' tank you will need 3 pendants. Go with the lumenarc mini's everyone who has them loves them including me. I have 4 - 250 watt lumen mini's over my 215 and it lights it up nicely. The top of the tank is...

My corals are a lot more vibrant with the actinics. Had 20k's but it wasn't close to what the actinics do for growth

You can have the actinics come on first and go off last like a sunrise sunset type of thing. Example: 2 hr actinic 6 hr halide 2 hr actinic
