    Finnex heaters

I'm not actually using a controller at the moment. Just a heater and a seperate digital thermometer. Thanks, I'll check that one out. Is 500 watt overkill for 120 gallon? I know it's overkill for a 55. :D

    Finnex heaters

If you are facing the tank, the heater is in the far right back corner. The tunze 6045 sits on the right wall, and the first probe is in the front right corner, about half way down. The second probe is on the left back corner. My hydor koralia sits about half way up and half way fron to back on...

    Finnex heaters

I'm running a nova extreme 4x54 watt HO T5 fixture with a fan in it, and the top of the tank is open. Strange thing is, the temp will read 81.5, and the stoopid heater will kick on, but sometimes when the temp reads 79.8, it doesn't kick on. Plus, I'm getting two different temperatures at...

    Finnex heaters

Anyone ever use these? http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=FI-HC-TH0300&Category_Code=Finnexheat I'm having a heck of a time stabilizing the temp in my tank as of late. Temp swings from 79 to 82 over the course of the day. I even went so far as to put...

    PVC

I used PVC cement on all my plumbing. And believe me, I got more than a little inside, outside, on me! LOL! I just let it dry until I couldn't smell it anymore, ran water through it, and hooked it up. No issues so far!

I miss that car. :'( 1970 fastback (mach I style, but not an actual mach). I pulled the 302 out of it and put the 429 in it. Got it out of a Grand Torino GT I think. Had like 30,000 miles on it. You know the story, little old lady, car in the garage, blah blah blah. I tuned it with the super CJ...

    More than 1 addiction

Wow! Muscle still exists? I would love to replace my 70 stang. I had a 70 with a 429 super CJ for a couple years out of high school, but then kids came and I was sent to the world of hatch backs and mini-vans. I drive a 2000 Chrysler LHS now, but I would love to get my hands on a new mustang GT...

hehe. Yeah, it WAS a nice truck. It's about 17 years old now! Runs like a champ, but looks like hell in a hand basket! LOL! Plus, that giant V8 just sucks down the gas. Especially at $2.25 a gallon! OUCH!

Thanks Gabe. Appreciate the offer. I'm WAAAAAAAAAAAY down south. ;D I'm about 45 minutes west of atlantic city and about an hour south of Philly. Allentown is about 2 to 2 1/2 hours from me (maybe 3 depending on traffic). I THINK I can bum my dad's truck for the day, it will just murder me on...
