    Thanks Merv!

Thanks, but I wish I had my D70. :( Dad still has it. Need to get that back from him... Camera was a little HP717 6.2mp point and shoot. SOME (and I do mean SOME) manual control, but not much. Soon as I get the D70 back, I'll get some better shots and some full tank.

    Thanks Merv!

This is one of the rocks of the GSP I picked up from you last week, it's doing well and loving the flow from the new Hydor Koralis #3 pump!

    zoa pics

First zoas in my tank. Got them today. The color is bit off, the ring around the mouth is a bit greener than this, but the camera I'm using is a couple years old, and a point and shoot.

    Show us your clowns!

Ok, my camera sucks right now, but here is one of my tomato pair.  I got them in may when they were less than an inch, and they have been together ever since.  They get along famously, so I'm hoping for a pair. This is "curious George" checking out the camera (no, that's not a spot on his...

    Tank monitoring

I need to do that for the next trip I have to take! I was completely paniced all week being away from my tank. I think my wife got upset when I called and the first thing I asked was "How's the baby" and the second thing was "How's my tank!" :o Her response was "fine, fine, and oh, I'm fine...

I think for me it's more about the "look, I made that myself" factor.

    Expert advise on acrylic?

There apparently is a place in wilmington that will custom cut any size and thickness for you. I was speaking with someone who has used them on multiple occassions, and says they are very accurate with their cuts. Apparently they also have tube, rod and bending services available too. As I get...

    Essential tools in coral fragging...

Thanks Saltwater4life, I saw that one too. And yes, I have no idea if you would ever need the picks. I have also found MANY people selling individual pieces as well. The exacto knife kit I already have, but it has been such a multi-use tool in my arsenal, I would probably buy another one...

    Expert advise on acrylic?

Thanks Rich! Cool.  Local and inexpensive!  Great place to get practice pieces! What solvent do you use for the seams? You built the sump for Merv, right?  I saw that in person.  That thing is sweet! Pictures don't do it justice. I may take you up on that, I'm in Cumberland County (just...

Tunze like design in a cheap alternative

I think the water flow is pretty wide. Definitely as wide if not wider than the tunze on the opposite side of the tank. I just went out of town this evening for the week, but when I get back, I will try to get some video of the unit running for you. Maybe Saturday or Sunday, depending on how...
