Folks, if you've recently upgraded or renewed your annual club membership but it's still not active, please reach out to the BOD or a moderator. The PayPal system has a slight bug which it doesn't allow it to activate the account on it's own.
Here is the link to the bluelines which are really good pumps:

Look at the head height on these and the watts, also realize they are 1 inch threaded fittings where the diablos are 1.5 inch which is different. I just recently though of...
You will probably lose any invert in the system, including pods mini brittles and all the other fun stuff. You can start pulling now and hopefully get everything out before you dose. At the levels you will need to dose, it will probably kill all the inverts in your system.
If you find interceptor here is your issue: I have known people who dose it in their tank in low doses so keep red bugs away but small enough that it does not effect other inverts. You would need a pretty strong dose to kill a gorilla crab, and that will probably kill your other inverts you...
Yes. The original was called GARFs purple bonsai after the store that brought it in first. It is bright purple with green polyps and really a stunner of a coral. They get the better purple coloration in higher light, they tend to brown out when they are in lower light.
One of the reasons people love this fish is because it is so beautiful and unique. Most deep water fish are kinda bland and are expensive because they are hard to collect. The narcosis angel is going for $10k but is a yellow fish with a black dot.
Other fish to look at are the opercularis...
We have a 5g hex tank in Point Pleasant if you need to borrow something in the short term. It has a little trickle filter on the back, and a CF bulb but should get you through a few days. Trop is your best bet for tanks.
If you have every wanted to try SPS this is the piece to start with, great color and easy grower.
Great piece and great prices, not surprised with the response.
Look like they hit the US this week. A couple of people on RC were showing the pictures. The reason they are so expensive is they are collected around 400 ft deep, so they are rare in shallow waters, but plentiful in deep waters. Rufus and his team have been trying for years to get a big...
Felt generally has smaller holes so it will keep your water cleaner, the problem with that is that they gunk of quicker which means they need to be cleaned and swapped more often. There are proponents of both but mesh seem to be more popular.
+1 to what downbeach said, also depends on what temp you want your tank to be. Our system is probably rougly 350 g. We have 3 300 watt heaters (one in the frag tank and two in the sump) which keep the tank around 75 which is where we want it.
Laziness breeds innovation lol. I would not risk it as cycling rock is not that difficult and who knows what sort of residues it might leave on the rock or on the flipside the damage it could do to your dishwasher.
Sounds like a plan. What are the dimensions of the frag tank going to be? What are you going to use as racks? Sounds like you are pretty handy so I would order the extra acrylic and rods and build blue glow style ones, but that is just me.
Sounds like you need more than one, LOL.
Besides the actual size of the skimmers, there does not seem to be much difference. They both use the same pump and draw the same lph, so I guess you choose the one that fits in your sump the best?
Hit up ultra corals, I don't think he is too far from you. I am also blanking on the name of the reefer who lived down in south jersey with the amazing SPS tank, he put up a thread on how to diy a sump.
