I guess I added the live rock rubble to make sure I had proper feng shui in the back. ;) Your point makes sense and I will have to closely monitor that situation. BTW, our bumblee snails finally showed their dark side when they demolished one of my feather dusters. They never went after anything...
So we have had the BTA in the tank roughly 2 weeks. It has settled into a nice piece of live rock with a big whole in it so it is very secure. We started noticing that it was looking a little funny and then we came home to this.
We are pretty excited.
They will move around to a spot of their liking. I would try and place him on a rock and go from there. They like flow, but not heavy which will cause them to move.

We have a 4x24 T5 setup on our 20 gallon and we keep zoas and all different types of LPS in there. They are all doing fine with that light and the tank is a 20G tall. You might might might be able to keep some SPS in there if you have them high enough in the tank. If you are just looking for...

You could go with a dwarf angel in a 50 gallon with no problem. A flame, pygmy or coral beauty would be a beautiful addition to your tank and can go easily into a 50. You could also look at a reef safe wrasse.
Welcome to the club and yes it is addicting. Your lighting will be fine for your tank when you upgrade down the road. The difference between the skimmer is the drain fitting which goes around your powerhead and draws water off of the top of your water line which is supposed to help skimming...
