Do you ever see them during the day? Mine used to come out at feeding time and that is when I grabbed the buggers. Also, if you find where they are hiding then you only need to pull out that rock. If you don't see them during the day, turn the tank lights off and just wait. I would recommend...

What makes that tank is the gorgeous piece of live rock. I guess I just have to get a tank big enough to fit that piece, and than find that piece.

What kind of vodka are you dosing? He could have been a vodak snob. ;) Do you have any hermits in the tank? Most people reup there cleanup crew yearly because they usually die out or hunt eachother to extinction.

Have you changed your lighting at all? How is the heat level in the tank? Mushrooms are very hardy, but a water change rarely ever hurts.

Love the pistol shrimp & goby pair, the fiancee and I succumbed to temptation about two months ago and purchased a pistol shirmp & goby pair that is currenly living in our 30G. Do you have crushed coral in the tank or is what I see in the photos just rubble and shells for your pistol shrimp?

The skimmers for nanos at this point are pretty bad. There are a few good ones and a whole lot of bad ones and you will spend a lot of money trying to figure that out. I do weekly water changes which keep the water clean.
