    Any wholesalers in the area open to the public?

    I've never heard of any wholesalers letting people in,if they're retail clients caught wind of them doing this I don't think they would have them anymore. I deal with numerous wholesalers and none of them allow walkins unless you can produce your buisness lic. and tax #.

    Is your current sump a glass tank? If so can you get one a little bigger,put your old sump inside and just cut the silicone and leave the bottom glass in the new one? Just a thought.

    As long as you have light and calcium in your system your going to have coraline. Don't know how you would stop it unless you left your sump in the dark.

    Yes,but I think if they just used liquid on the leaves and not spikes in the substrate you should be fine. Is the silicone discolored,,,,do you know if they had fish in the terrium?

    Should be OK as long as they didn't use any fertilizers for the plants. IT may leach out of the silicone.

    overflow placement

    Bob I always started with the box low,better to have the tank level low to start than high to flood. I kept it low in the water for a few days and would slowly raise the water level till it went half way up the tank trim. HTH Jim
