Yep get a test kit...try running a medium that obsorbs silica.

I would agree so long as you have surface movement you should be fine. Lightly feed your fish, make sure you don't overfeed for the day.

Thanks again. If you need more I always have a it to go. Might suggest putting a small power head in your fuge cheato likes some water movement. I think that is why mine does well have a lot of surface movement. I know I can find your house the next time too ;).

I have two 4s and two MJ900s, the MJs are on a controller. The standard Koralia are not controllable. I had a K2 on my nano...they have been very reliable and inexpensive to run for me.

My fuge is set up like that with a Mag 12 ...the water flows pretty quick across the top but lower it is pretty stagnate...I am starting to get some pods growning now in the fuge at least. Cheato likes good flow by the way if you read up on it.
