    stopped in ILC on sun

MORE likely is that this guy was selling a purple firefish MARKED as a Helfrichi...to make people think they were getting a deal. Or he just doesnt know his fish... Both scenarios are #1 and #2 on my list of possibilities. ;D

POSSABLE MAJOR CHANGES TO OUR HOBBY......

Protecting the reefs and thus driving up the cost of livestock is probably the best thing that could happen to the hobby. Will you pay more for fish? Absolutely. But its for the betterment of the species and reefs overall...something anyone who owns a tank can appreciate. Protect the fish!

Ive also been looking into the units that install directly into the radio...I think thats the option I am going to...

    The Worlds Oldest Living Creature

Give me a break...now youre reaching. You know nothing more than these scientists have other animals in their possession that still need to be studied. A little insight...you dont go out and collect specimens, run back and examine them, go back out and get another... Its like...

    The Worlds Oldest Living Creature

I hardly think the death of one clam, regardless of age, is cause for concern. I have done experimental research on animals...in fact I am still doing experimental research on animals. No one likes sacrificing animals for the sake of obtaining valuable information but it is necessary...

    Advice on Triggerfish

The fish is voracious with everything that is fresh or recently frozen. Everything that is freeze dried or in pellet for he absolutely stays away from. I may have to find a sitter. :) But as for him losing weight, I honestly dont know how much more I can feed him. Fish is about 5" long and I...

    Advice on Triggerfish

Many of you know I have a juvenile bursa trigger in my 72g bow. Well, I thought this would be the perfect fish for me. No picky dietary needs, one of the hardiest types of fish you could have AND it was a fun fish. Well, problem encountered. I am away for a week at a time somewhat regularly...

Vortech Pump for 4ft 72g bowfront tank?

I am considering ditching all of my other powerheads (4 in total = 4,000gph) and replacing them with a single Vortech pump positioned on one end of the tank. 72g bowfront : 48" x 18" My questions: 1. Will this be enough random flow for SPS? 2. Will this be too much single direction flow? 3...

    Red Sea Max 34 gal

I think that you can indeed get away with some higher light critters near the top, but the RSM only has 54w of true white light. Im not certain that clams and SPS would do well under that...at least not anywhere but at the very top. I have owned a few all-in-one tanks and IME the best use of...

    Weird occurrance

I wouldnt worry so much about the toxicity of the material...like you said its probably safe if it in the water already. I would be more concerned about the fish trying to eat it...or actually eating it and getting am intestinal obstruction. I dont think it will hurt the corals.
