Hey everyone!

We've just opened up the frag swap registrations as of last night and we've already got 9 vendor booths booked up! We expect a lot more to get added soon as the vendors get a chance to read the email notification and sign up.

But, we also wanted to announce that the attendee registrations are now active as well. You should now see the Frag Swap drop down tab from the menu at the top of the forum. Feel free to review the new floor plan and also sign up to attend! The event will be at the NJ Expo Center in Edison, NJ again.

Also, this year we're offering an opportunity to pre-order an NJRC 2014 Frag Swap T-shirt! You can order up to 4 shirts and add them to your cart when paying to attend. This year, we'll be adding the vendor's names to the back of the shirt to give them a more personal touch. The design is still in planning, but when it's done we'll post an image of it in this thread.

If you don't want to pre-order the shirts, don't worry. We'll have some there to buy on the spot. We will also have some larger sizes (2XL and 3XL) available that aren't included in the pre-order option... so the bigger folks can still sport some NJRC gear. We may even have some other NJRC gear on sale at the Swap too.

Feel free to ask questions about the event or post that you signed up in this thread.

It was there the whole time Matt. I didn't edit that post at all.

Anyway, at least you have the answer. :encouragement:

Just a thought. Last year you had the machine to make the ID cards on location. I was thinking maybe use this opportunity to change the cards to make the User Name larger and renew membership. This way the IDs can be used for future meetings and activities. Since you give the lanyards and holders everyone that come is supplied for the year. I think its a kill two birds with one stone thing.

Praveen, I don't think we will able to get each person's name on their shirt. That will both add extra cost and will also cause problems if you find out you need a different size than what you ordered.

Jonjon, you are more than welcome to keep the lanyard/ID badge from the Swap and use it as a name tag at the monthly meetings. We have even thought of doing something like this in the past, but never quite figured it all out. As far as changing the text size on them, that's not an easy thing to do. The program we use to print them has a script that auto-adjusts the font size based on the length of the name. There really isn't much we can do about that.

Also, this year's ID badges will have a slightly different look with regards to colors and the text labeling, so if anyone had any ideas of using last years to get in this year... think again! :p
