i recently had a minor algae outbreak, it seems to be strictly on one piece of LR (small piece) and i researched it and it seems to be a few solutions, first of which is light deprevation. i am hesitant to pursue this method because i dont want to hurt the coralline growth i have within my tank and the second method being water changes and monitoring levels. my levels seem to be fine aside from my phos which i am currently trying to get under control. sits around .5-1 now the majority of the algae growth is on one small rock small enough to where i can take it out of my tank and quarantine it if need be. my question is this, what is the best method to get rid of the algae growth or should i just continue with regular water changes and let it cure over time. i also have a HOB refugium which seems to be helping a little (i intend on buying a skimmer as soon as i get paid next week) i know this should help me with the algae and phos levels
