All for Reef

Finally got around to testing after vacation.

Nov 12 parameters:
ALK - 8.3
Calc - 350
Mag - 1190
PH - 8

Dec 12 Parameters:
Alk - 8.2
Calc - 350
Mag - 1350
Ph - 8

Seems consistent which is good. Still debating if I should try to raise calcium.
Have you seen any increase on ph?

Before we make any bold moves, I would just get a second test done with a different kit for calcium and alk. Once you are sure it wouldn’t hurt to throw a few mls of calcium alone in there to move it up some. Keep the all for reef at the same dose tho. If everything is happy where it’s at, I wouldn’t go chasing anything if you are seeing a substantial increase in health. You can go experimenting tho just alittle at a time.

I agree. I toss about 30ml of calc in weekly just so its stable.

I tested again since its been a few months.
Calc - 375, no change
Mag - 1250 ( dosed Kent Mag liquid)
ALK - 11.4 (huge jump from 9)

I just ordered more ALK reagent because that was the last.
Meantime dumped a bunch of liquid calc in to absorb some ALK.

Now wondering if I need to add my second doser for calc to ALK doesn't go higher.

Going through my tank notes forgot I started to use the powder All for Reef. I used to much or not enough water but also see some solid powder on bottom of reservoir.
I will strain it so only liquid and see what happens. I need to mix this stuff better.

Hay guy!!
do you get a yellow color solution? This been mixing up for around 10 hours, 1600g in 2.64 gallons of water
When I get the liquid it’s clear 100%!!!

you dose all for reef too!! How long have you been going through this?

i've been using it on the frag system since I don't have a high volume of corals like I use to. been on it for about a year or so. works well but will eventually go back to my calrx once demand goes back up. I like it a lot though, great stuff to keep things basic.
