GPH in a carbon reactor?

Just seeing what flow people are using in their carbon reactors. Also should you lower your flow with the more "potent" carbons?

depends on the reactor and how much media you have in it.

If it's just something like a TLF reactor, the min-jets are good, with a ball valve to dial back the flow so that the water moves through the carbon, but does not move the carbon. There was discussion in I think a phosban reactor thread where (I think Dave) spelled it out pretty eloquently. Lemme see if I can find it..

Thanks fish- I have a brs reactor and the carbon can't move cause its sandwiched between two foam pads. So i converted cups to gallons and timed it. Took a little playin wit the ball valve but i have it set at about 120 gph
