depends on the reactor and how much media you have in it.
If it's just something like a TLF reactor, the min-jets are good, with a ball valve to dial back the flow so that the water moves through the carbon, but does not move the carbon. There was discussion in I think a phosban reactor thread where (I think Dave) spelled it out pretty eloquently. Lemme see if I can find it..
For what its worth, I have the mini-jet 600 on my TLF with a ball valve to dial it back. not really sure what the "GPH" on it is after being dialed back, but I dial it back visually so the carbon isn't moving (after that other post anyway. I did have it tumble at the top, but have since dialed it back)
Thanks fish- I have a brs reactor and the carbon can't move cause its sandwiched between two foam pads. So i converted cups to gallons and timed it. Took a little playin wit the ball valve but i have it set at about 120 gph
