Hey all

Just wanted to give an update since I've been Mia for a bit. Over the past few months I've battled a real bad case of Dino's and lost about half my tank. Ive tried everything but wc's r about the only thing that kept the other half alive. It's been so frustrating I came close to giving up. I'm still not outta the woods but I'm getting close. I hope to be able to declare victory within the next few weeks. Dino's suck big time!

Hey man...missed gettin in touch with ya. Sorry to hear about ur tank. I am sure you'll get things rollin thru this. You got that GUY on ur side Hope family is well...keep in touch Len.

Thanks guys! I've tried quite a few things but feel wc's and lots of carbon are the key. As a local reefer told me, you just have to make an unsuitable environment for the Dino's by perfect water and thoroughly blowing off rocks when doing wc's and lots of carbon for toxin removal. I'm starting to get color back in my tank and feeling less frustrated so I know I can get through it

things are going way south again. seems i just cant catch a break. we went to tenn for turkey holiday and came back to an almost empty sump (sa was .031) and cyano everywhere. the sump dropped due to my topoff line falling out of the sump and about 20 gal of fresh emptied on the floor over a week. short of a few corals and all but 1 fish im at crash point. over the next week, all rock comes out, sump comes out and ill be starting over. i have a new acrylic sump, fuge and another 24 gal cube that will be a display fuge to replace my 75 sump thingy. ive got to make my tank easier to maintain, summer time kills me with the long hours. im real close to the end of my rope and am trying to hang in there. ive got a mountain and to be honest, am pretty overwhelmed. money is real tight and just dont know where to start when i look at the tank my brain goes ?????? just picture a farty type sound.......

Len...sorry brother. Anything I can do, please let me know. Would love to help out if I can. You'll pull through this with flyin colors. Anyway, gives you an opportunity to start again with all the knowledge you've accumulated over the years. You'll be able to create something you never thought possible...cant wait to see it!!!

I'm gonna give my best, thanks Brian. If I could find bulkheads locally I could get cranking on this but no one has so I'm held up in ordering them. I'm gonna try a marina today maybe I'll get lucky

Heres a few of the sump. The second pick is for pads and the top fitting is just in case I forget to clean it, it will go to the sump and not the floor. The return side will have this at the end and will b a fuge
