- recharging the kati-ani unit is a big pain!
- fighting algae is next! (hopefully my new XP5000 skimmer can do some help with this issue soon!)

theres a pest of some kind just waiting around the corner as in bubble algea,hair algea,flatworms and the list goes on.

You forgot to mention the scourge aiptasia.

It's funny that even experts can't agree on the right and wrong way to do things.

Thats because there are no experts, this is a hobby and there is no school you or any one else can go to for hobby knowledge. Trial and error is the only way to go.
