What is the best brand of carbon to run on a reef tank

As the title mentions. Im looking to add carbon to my tank. I have the reactor. Now I'm trying to decide on the media. and the flow rate

In addition where should i place it in my sump.

Set-up #1
Pull water from the refugium and return it to the return area of the sump


Set-up #2
Pull water from the Socks area and return to the fuge?

I use the ROX 0.8 GAC from BRS, I also use thier High Capacity GFO. Both of my reactor's are located in what used to be my fuge compartment, both intakes and discharges. I do use the prefilter sponges on both reactor pumps.
