got to from CoralWealth on r2r. it's doing fine, it's mostly encrusting on the plug, no improvement on the colors yet but I think my tank is in some funk. lost my little nub of confetti and my OP.

just sent an ICP since all the test I can test for are coming back normal.
I felt like my tank was going through something also, things seemed ok and tested all in line but then a coral would brown out for no apparent reason. Or die still couldn’t figure it out
Seems better now

Ahh . Hopefully it turns back around from ya, I have never had that one so not sure how it colors up easily or nah. And yeah confetti is deff a touchy one.

yeah, just sad to see my OP go, was my favorite SPS.

yeah, everything else seems fine besides those 2 deciding to just go. doesn't help their one of the more expensive ones.

That’s generally how it goes, and also with tenuis when they rtn there is no stopping it, I got lucky and mine magically stopped rtning. The other side of the colony was growing so I figured it was flow related and then the rtn stopped. The tissue was falling off fast to within 48 hours. Now it’s recovered and almost fully regrown over the algea spot. I wish I had an op, I would cut you a nub for free, tenuises grow like weeds in my tank and a tip would regrow within two weeks. I just need to find tenuises local and cheap.

yeah something is definitely going on with my tank. my strawberry shortcake is STN'ing now too. I cut a frag, hopefully it will survive.

When was the last time you changed everything in your ro unit? And what exactly do you do with the tank??

last November, but just ordered a new set just in case. nothing out of the ordinary that I have been usually doing.

Can you post any closeup pictures of random corals??
will try to get some tonight, i dont think its AEFW since i can usually spot bits, going to try to bring out my magnifying glass and check for red bugs.

I feel as if you would have a keen eye for pests at this point. How has the PE been lately??

PE has been normal, no abnormalities that I can spot. the SSC frag gas PE out now but i see the base is starting to recede where I cut it from. ugh

so not sure exactly what happened but things looks to be okay for now.

I did a 10 gallon water change and changed out the carbon. dosing microbacter7 and special blend incase its some sort of bacterial thing.

reading that the co2 scrubber media I've been using could of had a recent formula change that could add more lithium in the tank, i have an ICP test out so I'm waiting on the results to see if that is the case.

some goodies came in today..

upEZyye.jpg

was able to get a Lowboy Frag Tank and in the process of setting that up. Will be throwing the new XR15 Blue on top with two 3rd gens XR15s , got the new RF modules so the older Gen 3s will work with Mobius.

I would like to see how the blues compare to the others. I have a the previous to the newest and unless mine somehow isn’t doing the ab schedual, I think it’s still to white.

yeah, these are more geared toward the blue spectrum. didn't opt for the pro model since i heavily set my lights on the bluer spectrum anyway.

Also never figured out what caused my RTN on some of my SPS, got my ICP test back and nothing out of the ordinary. my Aluminum is a tad on the high side but this isnt new for my tank.

started dosing eco-balance and biodigest incase its a bacterial thing. fingers crossed it doesn't start up again.

The corals that rtnd, where were they in refused a to the lighting. I had my confetti on the frag rack off to the side of the radions and right under reefbrites. I though it was good enough par but it started to look decrepid with no PE, I put it right under the radions figuring if it died oh well. But this thing bounced back within days, so it is very picky with par.
