I did a routine cleaning and cleaned my Kalk reactor. I guess the switch on the ATO got stuck and the tank was flooded with a good amount of Kalk. Couldn't see 2 inches into the water. My ph was at 9.3. It was fine at 9pm when I went upstairs and about 10:30 I came down to find my milk tanks...

I keep some in my frag tank and it's getting really annoying. I think i'm going to take my old HOB filter and make a fuge out of it. Just gotta come up with a way to get light over it.

Rich and RBU, Buying 1 large EcoAqualizer for a large tank isn't what you're looking for in the EA. What you'd want to do is buy a smaller 1 per return. So if you have 2 returns you should put 1 150 on each (again this is depending on the size of your tank and the way your system is set up)...

What salt are you using? ReefCrystals had a bad batch a while back if you got salt from Dr. Fosters. It was showing Nitrates and it had low Calcium.
