Our shirts look more orange than "coral".
Nice pics Phyl.
I can't believe I missed the RockStar party with the reef gear girls...
Can't wait for Atlantic City.
I was at A.O. when you picked up your tank. I had a similar issue and I found the easiest thing was to build my own stand.

I've been using this site for a month now. It's great.
I watch the office, and it also has re-runs of an OOOLLLDDDD HBO show that I watched a long time ago called "Dream On". Started re-watching those episodes recently.
Alot of Brain corals can sting other LPS or SPS and they will slim over while dying as a result.
It's happened to me a couple of times. The latest time with a ricordea that I managed to save and it's still growing back.

It's rough times out there. I work in a restaurant that has a couple employees that don't have a clue either. The thing is it's hard these days to hire people who are as knowledgable as the owner or management. It takes years to build up the knowledge and know-how to run a store.
Even still...
I really don't think you need to drip acclimate coral.
Temp and Ph should be close for the most part.
I know some hobbiests that don't even acclimate fish... they just toss them in, things work different for everyone.
