Tch Tch Tch, you kids don't get it!!!!!!!!
Getting older IS GETTING BETTER...The grandkids were over last weekend and I had a ball spoiling 'em as I usually do. Then just as they started to become a handful, I brought them home to their Moms and Dads. ;D....Take That Erna :P LOL
Or how 'bout...

Shotglass/shell might work....I personally have had little luck with trying to let rics or 'shrooms attach to things by themselves, at least in any reasonable timeframe. After several attempts, I finally was able to glue some rics to pieces of rubble/shell. I put a spot of glue on the rock...
Very Nice Tanks Eric!!!
I have a 3" Fighting Conch in my 135 with a frag sized Kenya Tree attached to its rear...Really funny looking...I'm waiting to see if the coral falls off or is damaged when the conch goes under the sand bed. Neither has happened yet and it has been about 2 weeks since I...
Way to go Wendy...I know what you're going through having stopped cold turkey 23 years ago. I wish you all the luck in the world...Approach this with the same focus you show with your marvelous Reef and I know you'll succeed...

I do not have any experience with this, but it sure looks like a fast easy fix...My main reef has overflows and the tank's
surface is really clear...But my Nano has no overflow so surface is looking funky. So, I may just try this since I don't want to make any major mods now..
Thanks for...
Re: NJRC 2007 Officers
Congratulations To All!!!

PS...I dunno Phyl....acceptance of frags as "gifts" might be construed as a willingness to pay "special attention" to lobbyists' requests :P That's a crime punishable by you having to "accept" all those Kenya Trees offered so far ;D
This is a truly magnificent fish... Absolutely Fish in Clifton had an adult on display as of yesterday...It's the first one I've seen in many years as they both very rare and illegal to catch in many places... Also saw a nice Black Tang there.

Hi All
I use 2 Tunze Nano 6045's and am very happy with them. I also use 3 MJ 1200's on a wavemaker and have been happy with them. My son used 4 MJ 1200's in his 135 tank and adapted them with the Sure Flow 1600. These are awesome...very QUIET and they move a lot
of water...so much so, he...
Re: UV Serilizer...
Hi...Tell us what type of tank..reef or fish only....and what animals you have and are planning to keep. Also a brief description of your setup would help as effective use of a sterilizer depends on water flow and contact time as well as the wattage of the sterilizer itself...
The live rock has already started the cycling process....Keep the skimmer going and clean it often while periodically siphoning out the dead matter that detaches itself from the rock.... After about a week or so, start testing the water parameters as you would for FW.... As I see it, the first...

DaveK makes a good point as it appears that at a 24" height the 250 MH's are plenty while the 96 watt PC's should do the job regarding actinics.
I have a 135 Oceanic with the same 24" height but only an 18" width. I use 3x150 10K MH's and 2x70 20K MH's. Since I placed
some SPS corals...
Hi Rob
Decision should be based on whether or not you want to keep "sand dwelling" livestock, if like/dislike the look of a SB tank and whether or not you have the time or even want to clean a SB.
Personally, I have a 2" SB and think the gobies, wrasses, snails, starfish etc. that use the SB...
