i have blue ricardia and some green dragon eye zoos that seem to have less color then when i bought them. Could it be my lights are to much for them of they are to close to the top of the tank? They are not bleached but the zoos are darker than they should be and the ricardia are a grey dirty...

I got new sand last night a picked up pre-rinsed sand so I could just dump it is and get stuff done. Does the lighting temp affect the health and coloration of coral? For example, is a 14000k halide better for the corals than a 6700k?

ok, got a purple candy tip LTA that I feel is too big for the tank but it is really nice looking. It will not stay in the places that are good for it, so is there any way to get it to stay put? It stings my mushrooms and other stuff and pulls stuff off the rocks when it travels. Help.....?
