    Filtration in overflow boxes

    The overflow of water leads to your sump which can be used to house a skimmer etc? In modern reef tanks, the Berlin system is a commonly used. This requires live rock for biological filtration with the use of a good protein skimmer.

    SPS corals really extend when the lights go out. However my sps corals have polyp extension all the time with crazy extension at night. Maybe the water change perked them up?
