I just realized that the power problems is affecting so many reefers! I have plenty of room in my tanks, have been down sizing but the tanks are up and running and hold live stock or plug and play for smaller set ups.

I have plenty of room in the tanks for stock or can do a plug and play, bring a tank over and plug it in. Sorry I am not on this forum as much as I was or I would have volunteered sooner. Let me know how I can help!!
Greg

Sorry to hear this Mike, Im 1/2 mile away and never lost power. next time you need a life boat, keep me in mind.
A DC-AC Power converter that uses a car as a power source is a very good option, couple of heavy duty extension cords, tank of gas, power strips, car in idle, will see you thu in a...
John, what did you not do, that my last visit and advise was? Mag treatments everyday?
A current theory on the Brimosis is that the standard plugs are leaching phosphates, crematic plugs are the way to go now. Try Putting them in shade, no direct light and see if that helps. Last effort you can...
How about filling the canister with live Rock Rubble and the top with a bag of carbon and a bag of Phos-ban or just a couple bags of Chem-Pure Elite, That could work well.
Greg

Canister Filter, Reef=NO, Fish Tank, not Reef, Possibly Yes. LIVE ROCK IS YOUR FILTER, the rest, Fuge, Phosban, Carbon, Cheatoe are just refinements. This is a 20 gal holding tank just run by a small hang on with carbon and Phosban and two power heads. No Cyno, Alga everthing is Happy. Only...
About 5-6 years ago their was a member in central NJ that had a set up in his basement,
Live stock and Supplies. Had a dozen box's of Walt Smith Premium LR, Sold me a box for like 3 a LB. Only thing that I remember, Rely Nice House$$$, any one remember who that was. Nice Guy and a good Deal...

Correct, But, the treatment above is harmless and the Red Flag was the
and that it is a new tank, this will possibly help to save them till things get sorted out.
To minalmize that long tech thing-
Go to the local LFS buy Furan-2 Common $8 bucks
Dump some in a container, half a pack per 2-3...
Recommended actions- Turkey blaster, hit them good then see if they open.
Flat Worm Exit or ReVive as a dip, 8 drops in a bowl, wait 5 min, swoosh the frag around, dip in clean water,
examine the dip water for parasites.
Furan-2 Treatments, my experience.
Highly effective against zoa disorders...
I was told that just before that are due to hatch that you can use a turkey blaster to suck them off the rock and place them into the raising tank, then they hatch. Worth research! Thinking of you staying up all night, watching the tank to scoop up hatch lings like a egret, Still cracks me up...
Fantastic, good that it is working out, a club noobee with a empty tank just left with 26 frags at $100, would have been $520+ at the LFS. So far I have only sold to members of NJRC, thats what I preferred. Still have Est.180 frags available, then out of the Frag thing and can start my new 40...
Cool Dude, good luck with the kids, a small water change can kick off the spawn,
