On page 94, there is a pretty amazing picture. Person wrote into the magazine with a question about his SPS corals. The SPS corals were getting white and he noticed some white things grazing on them and eating them.
When he tried to remove them, he practically had to break a whole branch off as...
Yeah, I would def. check with Marco first as he's a sponsor and all. The BFS is nice stuff from what I hear. Would be nice to get them to sponsor the site maybe.
I know that everyone who's ever gotten the rock from him has loved it. I've seen tanks with it and it is nice, porous rock.
I have also read that it might take you ages to get your rock.
If he isn't shipping any time soon, check bulkreefsupply.com and check out their Eco Rock. It's dried base...
GREAT elegance, Wendy. These newer imports from Austrailia are shipped and collected in a much better manner than their Indo-Pacific counterparts. They are still not the world's easiest coral to keep, but yours looks very happy where you have it.

New Zoas/Palys:
(Not sure of name of orange ones -- From Rommel, Jokers Palys, Mohawks)
(Not sure of names -- Don't think AOGs)
(Not sure of these names either!)

PS Sorry for having not the greatest images. Did not have my tri-pod on me.
Gonis/Alvis tend to last 6-12 months and then die off.
I've had very good success with them, though. The cultured colored ones are much easier to take care of, generally. Mine always loved to eat cyclops. Use a pipette to feed the heads very slowlyyyy so they don't retract right away.
They...
They are great corals (hardy as hell) if you can find an initially healthy one. There are lots of good stories about the ones coming out of Austrailia lately.
Actually traded it out a while back. Traded it to smcooler who in turn traded or sold it to calaxea. It's on it's 4th owner now (as long as jazzsam was the 1st, IIRC).
If you get a healthy one, they will do great. The problem is FINDING a healthy one.
Blue Buffalo isn't worth the price, IMO. Especially with working with the product for a while now. I vastly prefer Wellness (especially the Core for dry and the 95% meat for wet -- and both are 6 star products to Blue's 4 and 5).
Quality dog food but a bit overrated. Still one of the better...
Most vets recommend Science Diet.
It's a terrible food.
I work at Petco and I try my hardest to get people off of that garbage.
Personally, I use Wellness Core for my dogs. It's one of the 6-star products. It's truly a tremendous food.
I used to use TM's Pro Reef salt. Great salt, but the price was seriously high.
Switched to Seachem's reef salt and I love it. Plus it's a LOT cheaper.
