    So freaking cool...

Hmm. Strange. Regardless, I guess right click on the picture and paste the image URL into your browser.

This is from the new TOTM for Reef Keeper. How cool is that?

    Jonathan.'s 39G CADlights Signiture Journey

More pictures tomorrow, also. Added a metric ton of coral since these shots including a lot of stuff from Stan and AO. And a new FTS is in order as well.

I should really post some new pictures. Even these are a bit old... Unknown Fairy wrasses: Japanese Dendros (from Wendy): Purple zoas:

    Carbon

Carbon does lose most if not all of it's efficiency after two weeks in the majority of tanks, though. Starts leaching out bad stuff around the 4th week from what I've read since stuff starts building up on it.

How many people here run a NeoZeo/Zeovit based tank?

I do (I know that smcooler, Stan, does also). There are a TON of benefits for your SPS. Anything that has blue in it will color up tremendously. The blue straight up pops out after using Potassion. I'd really, really recommend that anyone even not using the Zeo use the Potassion. The color...

    *thumbs down* saltwaterfish.com

6 heat packs are MORE than enough for 7 fish, dude. When I get in fish, we get them in at roughly 150-300 per box and there are a grand total of 4 heat packs. Everything is moderately warm and fine. We have a few DOAs, but it's normally because the fish were bagged badly than because the fish...

    SMCooler

Was over at Stan's for the 2nd time yesterday. Spent way, way too much money but came away with some amazing corals. Stan is an A+ guy and one of the most likable people I know who are into fish. Talked back and forth for like 2 hours with him from Zeo to whatever else was on our minds. Love...

    potassion

Dosing potassium (especially Brightwell's Potassion) brings out the blue hues and purple hues in corals tremendously. That's the main advantage of dosing it heavily.

NCPARS/That Fish Place Winter Frag Event - Jan. 31, 2009 NJRC will be there

Larry Flint teaching about...drilling? Hmmm. :P (Granted, the name is spelled differently, but I found that very LOL worthy)

    Turbo Snails

Trop just got in a huge shipment of Mexican Turbos. Some were larger than golfballs (by a good amount, as well). For a 90G, about 6 of those huge suckers should do. And when I say huge, I mean huge. One was almost baseball sized.

    what the ?!?

Frankly, I see very little difference besides either rainbows or Supermans since they both change in different lights and can look exactly alike.

    new acro

Keep giving it good care. You might be able to keep it and have it thrive. Good luck with it, too. We all have bought them in the past and they are definitely much harder to keep than your aquacultured frags. Take a trip to smcooler's to pick up some great ones!

NJRC College -- What's your schedule like?

Figured I'd post this since I had the day off recovering a bit from being in a car accident (2nd one in a few weeks and, again, not in my car -- lucky!). Had the time to type up my schedule and I always think it's fun to see what others are taking. Keep in mind that I'm a fifth year student...

    Remove Hair Algae From Rock

Tropiquarium usually has the monstrous Mexi Turbos. I think they are 3.99 a piece or something there + 10% off for NJ Reefers members. Check with them.

    new acro

If it was big, it was probably maricultured. They are a lot harder to keep than aquacultured specimens.

    Remove Hair Algae From Rock

Mexican Turbo snails eat hair algae usually.

If you want something that eats cyano, get some turbo snails.

    Rinsing Fish Food (Rods Food)

I wouldn't rinse Rod's Food. Believe they have oyster eggs and other stuff that would be gone and is a reason why it costs a good amount. I would cut back on feedings and/or take other actions as suggested in the thread.
