My ph has always been around 8-8.2. Just checked it and it was around 7. Also, my kH went from 9 to 7dkh. I started with kalk in my ATO about a month ago, 1 tsp per gallon in my ATO. Dont think thats the cause. Here are my numbers...

Personally, my toby NEVER even cared about my star or any of my inverts. In fact, he'd pull up to my fire shrimp for a cleaning. It was a Valentini puffer.
The advice was to increase my alk from 8/9 to 12 dkh. I dont get it, but he said it is all he has ever done in order to battle HA. Be reminded I live in SOUTH Jersey there is one store down here. The advice may have come from that store...it's been around forever.
Has anyone ever heard of bumping your alkalinity to decrease HA growth? Personally, Ive never heard of it. Someone whos been in the biz for a very long time said, "if you increase your hardness or alkalinity you will pretty much stop the HA." Anyone heard of that? If so, please teach me what the...

My son got his packet from Congressman Lobiondo today. We start the application process for the Congressional Nomination. As some of you may know, in order to be accepted to one of our nation's military academies, you first must be appointed by your congressman. He can only appoint a few a year...
Ive placed mine about 1/2 way up the rocks under 700w's of MH & T5. Is he OK there or lower? As far as pristine water...I am a nightmare. He should be fine then.
He has already opened up and is really nice. However, I've heard nothing but horror stories about them simply not making it. Are there any success stories with their flowerpot corals??? I hope so, I really like this guy.
