i have 1 in a 58 gallon tank it's 36x18x20. One vortech on pulse creates a giant wave and moves the water great. I have 2 vortechs now in my 120 and I have a really nice wave going on in there as well. I think if you put one on the back wall facing the front but in the center you should be ok...

Dan you should start a web service for reefers... They tell you the zipcode they live in and the equipment they're using and you tell them the cost per month/year. I'd pay $10 to find mine out.

I was going to do one month as an open month/anything goes. I was thinking the same thing but at the same time what I'm hoping is that people will have a picture laying around and submit it because it fits the "subject" ... it also will give some people an idea on what to shoot for the...

Thinking about putting a topic on the POTM contest. For example making each month's submissions be on a certain subject. July - Zoas August - Tangs September - LPS and so on... Anyone think that this maybe a good idea?

You can get something called Furan-2 and you can follow a dip process. Just google "Zoa Furan Dip" and you'll find one.

Yeah Lou. The Korallia's aren't set up to turn on and off. They just came out with their new stylethat is set up for wave making but it's really expensive. I used to have my Korallias set to 1hr on and 1hr off.... Still not the best. Sorry to here about the pumps.

Actually the person selling the skimmer has decided to hold on to it so I'm looking to go another route I guess. As for the Xenia, it's best to get them isolated on a single rock surounded by sand, that way they won't spread. Keep ripping them off the rock. Maybe someone that's had a similar...
