well, I hate impulse buying opportunities, but... goldflake angel and pair of flame wrasse - doesnt happen too often. they are in QT right now, but in 4 weeks they will come home. also got some first corals. the dip process was simple: 30 minutes in interceptor, 30 mintues in flatworm exit, 30...

Sunbrite - you are correct - they have even problem with their 2nd gen led bulbs - those were not even released as far as my knowledge. Wingos LED - you can see them at Manhttan Aquariums - just ask them to put it one since they have them in the store, but are not using - at least when I was...

    Led T5 lamps anyone.

I like to keep it to a simple conversation, but when you are wrong on type of LED used & penetration/PAR readings - I think it should be pointed out. I do agree with you that it is my concern what will happen in 5 yrs from now - and I dont have a clue on that.  I simply dont. My math was...

    a) They are using Cree LED 16000k not SMD. b) PAR readings: 2" depth - 1581 Par 12" depth - 551 Par 24" depth - 249 Par these readings compare pretty well against 400W MH.

    Jack's 300 gallon system

I will know in 3 weeks. it doesnt seem too complicated from the pics. Sump? Not ideal for Zeo system since one compartment is not used at all, but I can fit anything there. And I got a good deal from TwinReef on here so I cant complain.

    Jack's 300 gallon system

the bigger system brings "issues" I kind of didnt think about before - evaporation - comes to mind. Items needed to the fish room: a little fridge for the beer, TV and something to sit on :-)

    Jack's 300 gallon system

seems big from the pics. but the tanks size is missleading and it is not that big if you stand in front of it. I had 48" bowfront, this one is 54" - only 6" difference. the big difference is in the fish room where everything is bigger and much easier to get to and play around. it was either now...
