Last night I filled the tank with saltwater, put in 40lbs of live sand, and put my live rock in. So far so good, I will post pics of the tank when I get home.

Update:
I have finished the base I made out of 3/4" plywood, it raises the tank 12 inches, It makes it alot easier to see into the tank.
I also finished the plumbing for the tank, I mounted a few peices of plywood to the walls so I can attach the PVC with clips. The drain is done also...
It is going to be mostly rics. I have 35 different rics in my biocube waiting to go in, along with three clams. After i get my calc reacter i will be puttin in a few peices of SPS in like a birdsnest and a orange cap
Here are some pics of the rocks I made out from dry rock, acrylic rod,and great stuff foam.
I think I am going to make a plywood base for the metal stand to sit on. The tank is very low and I want to raise it up about 10 inches so It's easier to see.
It looks like my return pump wont be here...
I got a Blueline Velocity T4. I know its a big pump for this size tank but i will have a manifold that is running a phosphate ractor and the spraybar in my refugium so i want to be able to have enough flow.
It is doing well, I fed it a small silverside earlier today, it was the first time i ever saw an anemone eat, it was pretty cool.
My RBTA i put in the tank didn't open up yet, it it normal for them to take a few weeks to fully expand.
I just ordered my return pump today, so I should be able...
make a hood to fit the 24 gallon and just retro the MH bulb in it, Post some pics of the fixture and maybe ill be able to think up something different.

I will post updated pics of the sump tonight. I got to drill and install the bulkhead that my pump will be plumbed into today before work.
Thanks again to Aquatic Obsessions for bringing me the bulkhead to the swap at the last minute..

I just finished building the sump, here are a few pics. All i have left to do is drill the return chamber and install a bulkhead for my return pump.
I also made a spraybar for my refugium that will run off a manifold from the return pump along with the phos reactor
I don't have any full tank shots yet, but soon I will have pics of the tank on its stand with the sump under it. I need to plan on how I am going to run the pvc. I will also post pics of my planned aquascape, i got alot of base rock and used acrylic rods to make columns and overhangs.
I do...
I am making a resivoir for a auto top off out of pvc. I plan on using 4 inch pvc, on one end of the pipe I plan on capping off the pipe. In the cap I want to drill a 1/4" hole, tap in threads, and install a 1/4 male John Guest fitting wrapped in teflon tape. I will be pressurizing the pipe with...
Thanks Merv, the SPS I got off you is doing very well. If you have any small frags of the bridsnest left, Ide like to buy one off you. I also figured out a way to run my JBJ ATO with the solonoid and float valve without using the type of water tank that you have. I will post details on how I do...
Today I ordered a MRC nano calcium reacter, pinpoint PH controler and a blueline CO2 regulator. It should be here by Friday. Where does everyone get their co2 tanks, are there certain suppliers that sell the tanks or do you rent them?
Here are some recent picsures of my 29BC, most of the rics will bet taken out when i get my 33gal up and running. In the last pic you can see my new vortec mp20, i got it for the 33 but i couldnt wait to see the different settings it has so i put it on my BC for awhile.
I do plan on keeping my other tank running. Im probably goin to use some base rock I have, it is curing in a tub waing to go in the tank. What model Eheim pump do you think i should get. I want to run a mianifold off the return line to controle my TLF recter and a spray bar in my refugium.
